Popular star mourns the death of her son after ‘tragic accident’

A well-known individual recently shared the devastating news of her young son’s passing.

In a heartbreaking Instagram post on Monday, blogger Cristie Taylor conveyed the tragic news to her followers. “We are heartbroken to say that we lost our beloved Callahan in a terrible accident last week,” Taylor (@merrittandstyle) wrote.

She expressed the deep joy Callahan brought to their family, describing him as a blessing. “Cal-Bear’s big brothers loved him more than anything else in the world,” she added.

Details about Callahan’s age and the circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed.

“As parents, we are completely broken up over the death of our son,” Taylor shared, adding that their only comfort is knowing that he is now “safe with Jesus.”

Accompanying the post was a photo of Callahan with her husband, David Walker. The post has resonated deeply on social media, garnering nearly 20,000 likes and countless messages of support.

“I’m speechless. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope that God will help you find peace in time,” one person commented. Another wrote, “Thanks for all the love. I hope there are glimpses of comfort and hope amidst all of this.”

Taylor and her sister co-run an online business, Merritt & Style, known for offering clothing and lifestyle products. They are recognized online for their long blonde hair, fashionable outfits, and luxurious travels. Taylor has frequently shared photos with her school-age children, giving glimpses into their family life.

David Walker, Callahan’s father, has been less active on social media, with his last Instagram post dating back more than six months. In that post, he reflected on “15 years of marriage, two boys, and lots of adventure,” sharing a touching slideshow of his wife and children.

At this time, no information regarding a memorial service for Callahan has been made public.
